An egg appears in Pyre’s hotel shower, and after he’s gotten help from his friendly rival Shanks, it hatches to reveal a baby Ancient Evil both cuddly and horrible. For better or worse they have to protect and nurture it so it stops eating people as a stress response. They go to Outer Space on this quest, but not everyone is looking to help the new family unit, and some would like to use the Ancient Evil for their own means. This series was simultaneously uploaded to Kindle Vella and Patreon. Updates were scheduled two weeks in advance and were posted every Monday and Friday until the entire book was up.

The final chapter was published August 5th, 2022. It will be available to purchase as a compiled book on Amazon sometime in September 2022, watch my twitter for updates.

The up-coming sequel, Doomed from the Start, is still in the process of being drafted as of August 2022. Once the book is finished and edited it will appear simultaneously on patreon and vella, just like Hooversuck.
